We had some hot, muggy days early this week and now we are back to sweatshirt weather. It sure keeps things interesting around here! My photos are from a few weeks ago when we had our first very warm days. We had the kids outside playing and my four year-old granddaughter, The Princess, stripped of her sundress and climbed in the sandbox. Isn't it hard to believe that life used to be that simple?
I hope this weekend you find the time to relax and feel the sand between your toes and enjoy the sunshine. Happy June!
Playing in the sand in her underwear and rain boots. |
Who could resist that innocent smile? |
Aha, what a cutie! If only life were this simple.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be reminded isn't it? :)
DeleteWhat a cutie pie! I'd run around like that, too, if I could get away with it.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't we all!!
DeleteI love her boots! Clear priorities there in which items of clothing are necessary... :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the girl is always in her underwear but she still knows how to make a fashion statement! We don't call her The Princess for nothing! :D
DeleteThat is possibly the cutest advertisement for 'letting it all hang out' that I've seen in such a long time! She is just darling!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! It's nice to be innocent and able to just run around the way you want to. Great boots!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
Not a care in the world --cute.
ReplyDeleteOur grandchildren show us that life can be simple. Her happy smiling face tells the story.
ReplyDeleteI remember many hot summer days spent that way at my grandma's - very sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great picture, and it shows that children don't need lots of high tech gadgets and expensive toys.
ReplyDeleteExactly! As much as we like to spoil them with gifts, kids usually spend more time playing with the box and wrapping paper!
DeleteSo precious. I'm sure she'll thank you for it later, LOL!
