Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

Saturday Snapshot

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by At Home with Books. To participate in this meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.
Back in September I was taking photos at my mom's house on a beautiful day and I noticed dark clouds were rolling in. The sky was an interesting contrast and there were so many details. I made the photos extra large here but they still don't show how unusual it looked. I used my camera over a span of thirty minutes and the clouds went from fluffy white to dark gray. It was kind of scary when the rain finally came!

  1. Those look great! It is so difficult to capture contrasting colors of clouds - it can be quite dramatic. It's something I would love to get better at.

  2. They're gorgeous! I love looking at clouds!

    1. Debbie, what a great job you did showing the changing landscape.

  3. Wow, those are beautiful! I love fascinating cloud formations.

  4. Clouds show us so many "moods," don't they? You have captured some lovely moments. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  5. Wow! That's some fast moving cloud bank! Very cool that you thought to shot the progression!

  6. Great job! I love cloud photos.

  7. Wow...beautiful images. The contrast is very vivid. ^_^
