Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

(This story takes place in the future)
The news story changes to a segment about President Guiltree's lineage, how more than a century ago, citizens could vote for their president. It worked for awhile, so the story goes, until opposing sides began battling among each other. Now the presidency is inherited. The shortened life spans of the new generations threaten the tradition, but Gulitree seems to think he can solve it having as many children as possible. The fact that all his children are sons is also suspect.

  1. OOoo creepy! I bought this one when it first came out and I still haven't read it... I really should get to it. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. The fact that Guiltree only has sons is definitely suspect! I have Wither but haven't read it yet. Can't wait to get to it and Fever! Thanks for stopping by my teaser!

  3. I adored Wither, but forgot that the second one had come out. Thanks for reminding me!
