I've been wanting to try this meme for so long but I keep forgetting about it. Finally this week I'm joining in! I love to take photos and play with my cameras whenever I can. It's fun to play with the images on the computer too.
When my grandson was four weeks old we went to visit my grandmother so she could meet her first great-great-grandchild. We took plenty of photos because we had five generations together. He is now three months old and she just celebrated her ninety-third birthday. I especially loved this picture of their hands - his are soft, tiny and new and hers are a bit wrinkled, swollen and aged. Both are so beautiful and so very precious.
What a wonderful photo! It's not often one gets to be a great-great-grandparent.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful picture! Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteSaturday Snapshot
What a precious picture to remember a joyous time. I can't believe your grandmother is 93. My dad would be 92 if he was still alive, and I'm not old enough to be a grandmother! lol
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful contrast!
ReplyDeleteHow precious! Something you won't forget....
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
That is a wonderful shot. And how nice for your grandmother to meet her great-great-grandchild.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo! I am going to take one like this of my mom and my sons...what a great keepsake.
ReplyDeleteTHat's a fantastic photo. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThis is an exquisite memory to be treasured in years to come.
ReplyDeleteSo, darned sweet! We spent the weekend back home visting my grandmother who is failing. I was so happy that Gage got to spend some time spreading cheer around her room :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such an important connection.
