I had internet problems this week and had some blogging interruptions. Unfortunately I couldn't post anything to commemorate September 11th. I was at my mother's house on Tuesday (9/11) to let her puppy out and I noticed the beautiful blue sky. It reminded me of the same brilliant sky eleven years ago. So I wandered around the fields by her home, snapping photos of the colorful surroundings, reflecting on that sad day.

They're all lovely photos! I think Moe wants to come visit me.
ReplyDeleteThank you! A short visit might be OK, but I'm sure that's as long as my mom could be away from him! :D
DeleteWhat a glorious day. Love the fence and wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteWe both live in the country so we are so surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. Great subjects for photos!
DeleteI think I have fallen for your helper, Moe. Such a cute photo.
ReplyDeleteHe is quite adorable, isn't he? And growing so fast!
DeleteYour first photo, of the fence post and the flowers, is especially gorgeous! Perfectly framed!

Thank you! I thought it was very pretty too although the framing wasn't all from my photo. I did crop it on my computer using Picasa. Love that program!
DeleteAwwww, Moe is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, and he knows it too! :)
DeleteBeautiful photos. They really capture the beauty of the day and the season.
ReplyDeleteJoy's Book Blog

ReplyDeleteThank you! Moe thanks you for the compliment as well!
DeleteLovely photos, Moe is so gorgeous. Dogs always love pine cones.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise! He does love those pine cones. He chews on them every time I'm there!
DeleteWhat an adorable puppy! And he has a beautiful yard to play in, too.
ReplyDeleteHe does have a great place to play. We are lucky it's so beautiful around here. Autumn is spectacular!
DeleteThe wildflowers are lovely. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/ZsnvZ
ReplyDeleteI seem to take a lot of photos of the wildflowers this time of year. I think it's because I know they won't last much longer. :(
DeleteThe sky and the wildflowers are such vibrant colors!
ReplyDeleteLove the fence and the wildflowers. Such a nice contrast in textures.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos; so peaceful and tranquil -- MOE is a doll.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place and day. A wonderful place to reflect.
