Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

I had internet problems this week and had some blogging interruptions. Unfortunately I couldn't post anything to commemorate September 11th. I was at my mother's house on Tuesday (9/11) to let her puppy out and I noticed the beautiful blue sky. It reminded me of the same brilliant sky eleven years ago. So I wandered around the fields by her home, snapping photos of the colorful surroundings, reflecting on that sad day.

    1. Thank you! A short visit might be OK, but I'm sure that's as long as my mom could be away from him! :D

    1. Thank you! I thought it was very pretty too although the framing wasn't all from my photo. I did crop it on my computer using Picasa. Love that program!

    1. I seem to take a lot of photos of the wildflowers this time of year. I think it's because I know they won't last much longer. :(
