Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

Laptops don't bounce

... very well. Please bear with me. My laptop met with an unfortunate accident and according to the computer doctor, sustained a hairline fracture. While it's resting comfortably, it's out of commission and repairs are not in the budget right now. I do love my handy little computer but it's hardly a necessity and the boys' new shoes kind of are. Kind of. And so is food, electricity, blah, blah, blah, and other nonsense like that.

We have another computer and I've been able to use my son's laptop but I had everything on mine and really relied on it. So I'm going to be a bit behind for awhile. I had some reviews and blog tour info saved that needs to be rewritten. Most of my emails were also saved there so if I haven't replied to something feel free to send it again. Stuff will get done. And there's always Plan B, right?

  1. That totally stinks. It's awful to have to use a computer that you're not familiar with and that doesn't have your data on it. I totally understand about the budget though.

  2. Sorry to hear the news hon. If it's any consolation I know how you feel. It wasn't my laptop but my camera. I ended up dropping it in the dog water and it ended up being totally ruined. (Hugs)Indigo

  3. Debbie that sucks. Poor you. Thankfully all my blogging stuff is done on the desk top and not my net book. I would be lost without my computer too.

Last April right before son's bday I had dropped my digital camera and the lens wouldn't shut, we brought it in cause it was under warrenty to get fixed but sadly it would be in for repairs for 4-6 weeks so I ended up having to buy another camera.

Not fun when things like that happen.

  10. Oh, no, horrors when things go awry with a computer. I hope it has a speedy recovery at some point. Yeah, that food and electricity thing is sort of necessary! Take care and don't stress out too much. Not good for you.
