Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday (started at The Printed Page and now a traveling meme) is at Diary Of An Eccentric this month and is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Only one book came in the mail but I'm still collecting those free ebooks. I can't resist! I hope you are having the wonderful weather we are enjoying here. It makes me want to get my hammock out early!

 Calico Joe by John Grisham
For review and giveaway from Doubleday

A surprising and moving novel of fathers and sons, forgiveness and redemption, set in the world of Major League Baseball…
In John Grisham’s new novel the baseball is thrilling, but it’s what happens off the field that makes CALICO JOE a classic.

  1. I got that book the week before and can't wait to read it.

  2. Enjoy! I haven't heard too much about this one.

  3. Hope you get to be in that hammock pretty soon reading your new books. Have a great week, Debbie!

  4. I've seen it on many blogs this last two weeks - havent read any reviews as yet though.

  5. I so want to read this one. Hoping to win a giveaway I entered. Enjoy

  6. Sounds like a good one. Enjoy!

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment. I hope you keep coming back!
