Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

Sunday 3/8

-It wasn't a delivery from my mail woman or UPS guy (I don't think) but this morning some kind of stomach virus arrived. Special delivery just for me! My kids had a touch of it early last week so they may have saved some for me. I took a little break from my naps to post this and visit a little. I'm feeling lousy again so I'm taking a book or two back to bed. Hope you all had a great week and this week will be even better!

  2. I got Fragile Eternity and Kitty Raises Hell too! I've read The Historian, and while it was long and did slow down in some parts, I still enjoyed it. The library books look great too! I liked The Summoning (except the cliffhanger ending).

I'm sorry you are sick. I hate the stomach flu, and I really hope you feel better soon.

  5. Great lineup of new reading material. I'm hoping Fragile Eternity shows up for me today.

Stomach bugs are no fun! Glad you're feeling well enough to get some reading in, though. The last time I had a stomach virus I wasn't brave enough to try to read -- figured I'd be replacing some books the next day if I made the attempt.

  10. Thank you everyone! My stomach is a little better today but oh, the headache! It even hurts to read sometimes. Pretzels and popcicles are my favorite food today. Yum.
