Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

-It wasn't a delivery from my mail woman or UPS guy (I don't think) but this morning some kind of stomach virus arrived. Special delivery just for me! My kids had a touch of it early last week so they may have saved some for me. I took a little break from my naps to post this and visit a little. I'm feeling lousy again so I'm taking a book or two back to bed. Hope you all had a great week and this week will be even better!

  1. Looks like you got some good books to keep you company while you recover. I hope you feel better soon!

  2. I got Fragile Eternity and Kitty Raises Hell too! I've read The Historian, and while it was long and did slow down in some parts, I still enjoyed it. The library books look great too! I liked The Summoning (except the cliffhanger ending).

I'm sorry you are sick. I hate the stomach flu, and I really hope you feel better soon.

  3. Oh, I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well, hope you get better soon. At least you have some good books to read while resting.

  4. I hope you're feeling better soon.

  5. Great lineup of new reading material. I'm hoping Fragile Eternity shows up for me today.

Stomach bugs are no fun! Glad you're feeling well enough to get some reading in, though. The last time I had a stomach virus I wasn't brave enough to try to read -- figured I'd be replacing some books the next day if I made the attempt.

  6. Fragile Eternity looks so amazing. happy reading!

  7. I hope you feel better soon! I just got Fragile Eternity as well but I also got three other books from Amazon not to mention the two books I'm in the middle of reading right now. So many choices!

  8. The Historian is in my TBR pile, and Fragile Eternity sounds interesting. Happy reading! I hope you're feeling better now.

  9. Feel better soon!

  10. Thank you everyone! My stomach is a little better today but oh, the headache! It even hurts to read sometimes. Pretzels and popcicles are my favorite food today. Yum.

  11. I hope you continue to feel better, and enjoy all of the books you received!

  12. You're welcome. :-D

    Get well soon!

  13. Oh no! I do hope you're feeling much better!

  14. I am so jealous that you got Fragile Eternity! How did you get it?

  15. Lots of good books. Hope you feel better soon. That virus is making it's way through our house too. Yuck.

  16. I'm currently reading the Kitty Norville books and really enjoying them - hope you feel better!
