Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, totally worn out and screaming,
"WOO HOO, what a ride!"

Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Miz B of Should Be Reading and asks you to :
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3 . Share 2 "teaser" sentences also citing the title of the book and the author and in that way people can have great recommendations if they like the "teaser".
4. Please avoid spoilers!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

When I'm in a relaxed position my thighs feel spongy. This is partly due to the fact that I don't run, swim, or play Frisbee of any kind, and also due to the fact that I will eat anything if it has chocolate sauce or ketchup on it.

I wonder... what if it had chocolate sauce AND ketchup on it? Ha ha. Great teaser! My teaser this week comes from a short story collection called The Name of the Nearest River by Alex Kava. It also includes a link to a giveaway of last week's Tuesday Teaser Title (Damaged by Alex Kava). Here's the link.

I firmly believe there is nothing ketchup can't make better! Of course, my thighs are rather spongy, too.

My teaser (which is not nearly as funny) here.

That's a funny teaser! I haven't read any of Meg Cabot's books but I want to. She just came out with a new adult book that piqued my interest.

Here are our teasers this week!

Have a great day!

I don't eat as much ketchup as I used to. I'm reading Peppermints in the Parlor.
